Absorption Runes
Hey
I just bought a 85+10 body armor and i would like to put Absorptin rune on him, i just wondered, is the 3 runes(minor, major and supprior) have a difference? cause all the 3 just say Reduces damage from attacks, i want the best but the superrior cost is something about 70k, so i dont wanna buy it if it and the minor are the same. I would thank u if somebody tell me if there is a difference. |

Minor is -1 major -2 and sup -3 damage PER attack. If you get a single piece knights armour it will give you the same protection as a major and then you can put a rune on as WELL. The knights damage reduction and the runes DO stack. So its possable to have -5 damage per attack.

[EDIT] Lol Seems Spike beat me to it with the same info lol
Pretty sure it goes: Minor: -1 Damage Major: -2 Damage Superior: -3 Damage And from the warrior armor that has the same effect: -2 Damage The Runes and Armor bonus do stack together for a total of -5 Damage. You only need one piece of the armor to receive the benefit as the bonus applies to "all" the armors at the same time. |

Bear in mind, often Sup runes carry I higher cost, in health for example, than Major or Minor runes; balance your choices on the overall need/focus of your build.

If you're talking about the health penalty normally found in Major and Superior Runes. Then it should be noted that the Absorption and Vigor Runes do not have any health penalties at all.

Just wanted to add you can get another -2 from a good shield.
So a damage reduction of -7 is the max you can get. |

Ok thanks, but i have to deside now, should i take a 85+10 armor and put supr absorption on him, or should i take 80+10 and -2 against attacks and put supr absorption on him, anyone know which option of the 2 have more defence?

Which is better depends on how big the hits you are taking are and what damage type. AL reduces a percentage of the damage, while the 'reduces damage' is a set number. So lots of small attacks, you want the 'reduces damage'. Also, if not taking physical damage, you want it as well.
